Martina Gresia soprano
Born in Rome, on August 1997, she begins the music studies with M° Massimiliano Damato and the study of lyrical singing with soprano Nunzia Santodirocco.
In 2017, at only 19 years old, she wins the First Prize in the “Jole De Maria” International Lyric Competition, as her first experience of participation in a lyric contest, with a quality jury presided over by the soprano Giovanna Casolla.
In the same year she is finalist of the prestigious “Ottavio Ziino” International Lyric Competition - edition 2017 in Rome.
On December 20th, 2017 she is invited by the Fondazione Pavarotti to take part in a Christmas Concert in Verona, introduced by Milly Carlucci.
On January 2018 she takes part at the Master Class, organized by Fabbrica dell’Opera di Roma (Young Artist Program), with baritone Luca Salsi.
On January 20th, 2018 she performs in the Gran Gala Lirico “Ritorna Vincitor!” - concert of the winners of “Ottavio Ziino” International Lyric Competition 2017 - Auditorium Ss. Apostoli in Rome.
On February 2018 she takes part at the Master Class, organized by Fabbrica dell’Opera di Roma (Young Artist Program), with orchestra conductor Speranza Scappucci.
On May 10-11th, 2018 she participates in the Master Class, organized by Ariadimusica Academy, with conductor Donato Renzetti, which will include a final concert with orchestra on October 29th, 2018.
On May 26th 2018 she performs in the Sala Accademica of Conservatorio di Musica “Santa Cecilia” as a finalist of “Beniamino Gigli International Competition” . In jury: Cecilia Gasdia, Vincenzo De Vivo, Angelo Taddeo, Nicola Della Santina, Stefano Gottin.
On June 16th, 2018 she wins the Third Prize at the 56th International Voci Verdiane Competition in Busseto; then, she takes part in the concerts of the winners at the birth house of Giuseppe Verdi, in Busseto (17 June) and in Cadeo (23 June).
On August 26th, 2018 she will make her first debut at the Arena di Verona, among the big names of the Opera, in the evening of the “Verdi Opera Night”, conducted by M° Andrea Battistoni and directed by M° Stefano Trespidi.
October 9, 2018 she is invited to hold a recital at the "Luciano Pavarotti" House Museum in Modena with maestro Paolo Andreoli, organized by the Pavarotti Foundation.
8 November 2018 Martina Gresia wins the absolute First Prize at the 17th International Opera Competition "Ottavio Ziino", Rome.
In Gen. 2019 she made her debut in the role of Mimì (la Bohème) in Livorno, Lucca and Pisa theaters. In Dec. 2019 She will sing again the role of Mimì in Petruzzelli Theater of Bari.
In 2020 she will play the role of Adina (Elisir d’amore), in Petruzzelli Theater of Bari.
