Kiok Park basso
Born in Seoul (South Korea) on 23.09.1980 and resident in Milan, Italy, the lyric bass Kiok Park graduated from the National University of Seoul with Prof. Phillip Kang.
After moving to Italy, he graduated in lyric singing at the State Conservatory "Giuseppe Verdi" in Milan, with Prof. Cristina Rubin, and followed the courses in Chamber Music at the Civic School of Corsico with Prof. Sem. Cerritelli.
Later he perfected with the master Bonaldo Giaiotti.
In 2014 he is finalist of the Toti Dal Monte International Competition.
After, he won some competitions, among which we mention: the 5th International Maria Malibran Opera Competition (1st prize); the 43rd International Opera Competition "V. Bellini "(2nd prize); the 1st International Opera Competition "Luxembourg 2013" (Teresa Berganza Award); The "Salvatore Licitra" International Opera Competition 2016 (2nd prize); the 13th "Giulio Neri" International Lyric Competition (Special Prize "Giulio Neri" - best bass voice); the 6th International Lirico Competition F. P. Tosti (Special Prize F. P. Tosti).
In 2017 he debuted as Monterone in 'Rigoletto' alongside Leo Nucci, in the theater of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
From 2008 to today he debuted various roles in Europe and in Korea: Sparafucile in Verdi's "Rigoletto", Inquisitore in Verdi's "Don Carlo", Doctor Grenvil in Verdi's "La Traviata", Don Alfonso in "Cosi Fan Tutte by Mozart ", Il Conte Rodolfo in" La Sonnambula "by Bellini, Giorgio in "I Puritani by Bellini", Basilio in " Il Barbiere di Siviglia "by Rossini, Angelotti in "Tosca" by Puccini, Colline in "La Boheme by Puccini", Zio Bonzo in "Madama Butterfly" by Puccini.
In 2018 he made his debut as Zio Bonzo at the Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago.
